Generally, one can expect to come through for a course of at least 6-10 treatments. These treatments are done 4-6 weeks apart.

How to prepare:
- Stay out of the sun
- Shave treatment area (if possible) to avoid discomfort during the treatment.
- Avoid blood-thinning medications
What you can expect:
During the procedure: Your therapist will apply a cool gel to protect your skin.
When the laser is activated, you may feel slight discomfort, similar to a quick warm sting.
Treating a small area, such as cheeks might take only a few minutes. Treating a larger area, such as the back, might take more than 30 minutes.
After the procedure:
- You may notice slight redness for the first few minutes after treatment.
- After laser and between scheduled treatments, avoid sunlight and don’t use a tanning bed for six weeks or as directed by your doctor.
- Use a broad-spectrum SPF30 sunscreen daily.
Results
Results are gradual and may only be visible from your second treatment, and become worse before it gets better.
Results vary significantly and are difficult to predict.
Most people, however, experience drastic improvements with long term results after a course of treatments.
