This mild and comfortable peeling system is perfect for:
- early signs of aging,
- dull skin,
- fine lines, and
- hyperpigmentation.
Key Ingredients & How It Works
Step 1: Features ferulic acid (from Japanese rice bran), vitamin C, and butyl resorcinol to fight free radicals, boost collagen, and target uneven skin tone.
Step 2: Combines ferulic acid with alpha-hydroxy acids (lactic and citric acids), salicylic acid, retinol, and soothing panthenol to gently exfoliate, clear congestion, and stimulate cellular renewal.
Leave-On System: The solutions are applied in clinic and left on the skin for 6 hours or overnight before being washed off at home with an appropriate Lamelle Cleanser.
Course of treatment?
For optimal results, treatment may be repeated at 2–4-week intervals for a series of 6 – 10 treatments until the desired clinical effect is achieved.
The whole process takes barely 30 minutes – 1 hour to be completed.
How to Prepare for your Treatment:
Because chemical peels work by removing a layer of skin, any treatments that leave your skin more sensitive can lead to discomfort or other complications. Treatments to avoid 2 weeks prior, include:
- Facial Treatments: Electrolysis/ Laser treatments/ Chemical peels
- Waxing/ Tweezing
- Products with AHA’s, BHA’s, glycolic acid, retinol, irritants, strong acids
What to expect:
- Following the procedure, your skin will return to normal immediately and you may resume normal activities.
- Side effects are usually very mild and disappears after a few hours or within a day.
- The most common side effects include redness, itching, drying out of the skin, flaking, frosting, peeling and temporary darkening.
- When used for the treatment of acne scars, it can also cause the temporary increase in the number of spots. This is because the process opens up the pores releasing the acne causing bacteria thus leading to a sudden increase in acne. However, this is not a serious matter to worry about as the acne soon disappears.
- Use a rich hypoallergenic moisturiser several times daily
- Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 50 or higher.
