Laser uses powerful levels of light to target colour molecules (also known as pigment) in the skin e.g., brown pigment in sunspots or red pigment in rosacea. This pigment in turn absorbs the laser light and converts it into heat, permanently destroying the hyperpigmented or scarred cell.
Generally, one can expect to come through for a course of at least 8-12 treatments. These treatments are done 4-6 weeks apart.
